Hi Dr, I am type 2 Diabetic. I have recently started working out at my local gym for 1-2hrs everyday after work. As I am Asian I realized I am more prone to being diabetic now in my late 30 s then in my younger days as I was playing semi pro football. Since I stopped playing and got married I have lost moral and time for it. I became Diabetic nearly 3yrs ago, when I lost weight from 13 stones no belly to 9 stone and went blind for 2 weeks. Since then I have been eating healthy, because of my wife being strict with me. As time progressed I became in denial that I am Diabetic and stated losing weight wrongly and fell ill again. To cut the long story short, I want to live healthy and a long life for my family now that I have a 16 month old baby girl. My question to you is Dr can I use Maxi muscle products? its just I train very hard and yet I dont seem to gain any muscles ? Thank you Dr and Best Regards

hi and welcome to hcm, insufficient insulin prevents the body from getting glucose from the blood into the body's cells to use as energy. When this occurs, the body starts burning fat and muscle for energy, causing a reduction in overall body weight. Unexpected weight loss is often noticed in people prior to a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes but it may also affect people with type 2 diabetes. continue your regular exercise take your less carbohydrate and protien rich food in time take your medications correctly that may help you ... hope you got your query cleared.
