My wife is diagnosed with ITP on 23/06/2017. She was admitted in hospital & discharged on 28/06/2017, with a platelet count of 73000. we r doing her CBC test in 1-week regular basis. Her platelets were going down day by day. Sir requesting u to suggest me something.
Hi i do care for your concern. The immune cells of our body considers platelet to be foreign and attacks it causing ITP. You have not mentioned the age and treatment received and drugs that she is getting. There are more drugs available, and in most cases steroids will help in remission. I would advise to consult your physician and know more of treatment procedure and adhere to one. If any spontaneous bleeding occurs then immediately physician should be consulted.
