Hello. I am 7 wks pregnant and I have been getting a low grade fever every night for the last week. For a few days it was 100.3 all day with extreme chills in the a.m and at night before bed (with extreme nausea). Now, I seem to only be getting it at night. Is this normal?
There are a lot of physiological changes in pregnancy and a slightly-higher-than-normal temperature is part of the change in early pregnancy. However as this is accompanied by chills, one must get investigated for malaria and other common causes of fever.
