Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing recurring low grade fevers in the evening only. I have also have headaches, and an enlarged, painful cervical lymph note. I have lost 18 pounds over six months (without trying). However, I have recently been diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. There has been an improvement of constant diarrhea and LUQ pain since beginning pancreatic exocrine replacement therapy. CT of the chest, abdomen and pelvis was normal, as was CBC, U/A and many other tests. TSH was very low so my levothyroxine and cytomel were reduced. Any ideas?
Fever with lymphadenopathy may be due to many causes but with weight loss may be seen in tuberculosis or cytomegalovirus infection or lymphoma or retroviral diseases etc.
Other possibilities like vasculitis or connective tissue disorders or brucellosis or rickettsial infection or Lyme disease etc.
Please take tablet Paracetamol. Drink plenty of water take rest.
If symptoms not improved please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
