What Causes Low Neutrophiles And High Lymphocytes Counts?
hello doctor i went to my doctor to complain to her that my period is not coming out every month and she ask me to go for complete blood count test and when the test came out it shows that i have low NEUTROPHILES AND HIGH LYMPHOCYTES so i dont know what to do now
Hello, Thanks for posting in HCM. First i would like to tell you that neutrophils and lymphocytes are called white blood cells along with other cells and comprise of the immunity power of body. Usually we look at total WBC count to look for nay presence of any infection. if it is more than 11000 then we see for differential count ie. neutrophils and lymphocytes percentage in that. It gives a picture whether infection is acute or old standing. And it has nothing to do with irregular periods. If your WBC count is within 4000-11000 then you do not have any infection so nothing to worry about it. It will be advisable to consult a gynecologist for the irregular period problem which might help you better. If you have any more queries kindly write back to me, will be happy to help you out. Thank you
