What Causes Low Sex Drive While On Cholesterol Medicines?
My husband takes blood pressure medicine and cholosterol medicine as well. His doc just put him on a 3rd cholosterol med and now he has a low sex drive and he cannot stay hard. Can his meds affect or lower his testosterone? And can alcohol cause LowT as well?

Definitely Alcohol can lower blood testosterone level and lower Sex drive .
Most of the cholesterol medicines doesn't have any effect on sex drive or testosterone but some BP medications do have .
If you can post me what medications he is on I can tell you with confirmation . Also there is a possibility that it could not be due to medicine but due to some disease or disorder .
I advise him to get tested for Diabetes , get Scrotal Ultrasound , Serum Testosterone , Serum Prolactin , Serum TSH test done and revert back to me .
