What Causes Low Vitamin-D Level After Recovering From Laryngitis?

I have had laryngitis, colds, coughs for months. I felt unwell 3 weeks ago and asked for blood tests. The results came back with low vitamin d and raised inflammation markers crp levels. 3 weeks on and I ve just been for blood tests again for crpr levels and esr and full blood count. I m really scared. I work with people who have had whooping cough confirmed. Would this be a reason for the levels to be high and inflammation markers? I am only just starting to feel better this week so hoping the results are better next week

Hello I just read your query and the detailed information that you have provided.
Well vitamin D deficiency is unrelated to laryngitis or any infection for that matter.
It solely depends upon how much sunlight you are getting.
For that you need sun exposure 30 minutes a day and vitamin d supplements .
Regarding your raised CRP levels that could be because you had laryngitis at that time of test so that could be the reason for it to be raised.
Hope you find my advice of some benefit.
Good luck.
