What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Fatigue While Having Hashimoto S Disease?

I have had 5 episodes of varying intensity since mid January with pelvic (low abdominal) pain and fatigue. Typically, they last 24-36 hours. On most, but not all, occasions, I ve had a low fever (100.2, 98.0 being my normal). I am 66, in reasonably good health, but do have Hashimoto s and Alopecia Areata. I eat a gluten free, mostly clean diet, and drink 1 glass of wine 5-6 nights a week.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Dear hashimoto's patients may suffer from generalized weakness and fatigue. They may also prone to develop type 1 diabetes and other auto immune disorders etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
