What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Heavy Bleeding During Pregnancy?
I'm 25 yrs old woman, Wt is 62 KG, B.P. is 110/70. My pregnancy test gives positive results. 4 days ago and my periods was stopped. I consult with doctor and give me LUPI HCG 5000 injection. after taking that lower abdominal pain begings and heavy bleeding started. please advice what happen?
Hi, Thanks for the query. Sometimes minimal spotting can be seen during early pregnancy due to different causes. But heavy flow with pain abdomen may indicate miscarriage. HCG itself may not be responsible for miscarriage, there could be some other cause. So, better to consult gynecologist once and get examined. And go for ultrasound. Ultrasound helps in detecting the possibility of miscarriage and presence of any retained products. Depending on the examination and ultrasound findings further management can be planned. In case of threatened abortion, bed rest, progesterone supplementation etc may help. For more details: http://srsree.blogspot.com/2013/03/early-pregnancy-loss-abortion-2.html Take care.
