Hello,
I have gone through the query and understood your concern. this lower abdominal pain is unlikely due to pregnancy; it is more likely to be due to a pulled muscle since you are experiencing exacerbation of the pain while straining. Also, ovulation tests detect the LH surge that may happen anytime between 12-30 hours before ovulation and not the exact point of ovulation. Moreover, even if you conceived with the sexual act, it is too early to detect unless you have been taking down the basal body temperature from day one of your cycle. Hope this helps.
