There are many possible causes for a pain in the lower left abdomen with these characteristic you have mentioned. Most common causes are: -Diverticulitis -Stones in urinary tract -Urinary tract infections -Ovarian cysts -Severe constipation can cause such symptoms. It also might be just a muscle strain of your abdominal muscle if you have done any heavy exercise . If this pain doesn't seem to improve you should consult a physician and get examined. A detailed medical history and physician examination are necessary for the diagnosis. An abdominal ultrasound is needed.
