General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
If you had unprotected sex around your ovulation days. There is possibility of pregnancy. This type of pain can follow vigorous sexual act or may be due to endometriosis. OR it can be genital infection. You should take pain medicine over the counter twice a day after food and consult your doctor immediately if there is no relief. You have to check for pregnancy after 8 days delay in periods by home pregnancy test, Otherwise consult after your periods.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
