What Causes Lower Back Pain While On Roxicodone?

I have been taking roxicodone 15 mg for 5 years now. I have chronic lower back pain. The medicine is not working, I have become use to it and it does no longer work for me. My question is, I go back to my pain management doctor at end of month. What would be the next pill that she and I should discuss for my pain relief?

Hello,

Suboxone has a higher narcotic effect and has a blocker in it. It will 1) Allow safe use of narcotics even if someone is doing bad stuff and 2) The blocker lowers tolerance to the narcotics. But it is restricted to those with addiction so, this is problematic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
