What Causes Lower Body To Shake In Sleep?

Hi, i noticed my husband shakes unconsciously while asleep from his waist down to his legs, each time he does the bed vibrates like a phone but he is not aware of this. He refuses to seek medical help. I would like to know if this is a condition we should be worried about.
