What Causes Lower Lip And Jaw Quiver In A 2½-year-old Child?

I have a 2 1/2 yr old son, that ocassionally has a lower lip/jaw quiver, not lasting more than 2 sec. usually seen when he s extremely excited or upset ... I know as an infant up to 6 mos this is considered ok, but he not and it concerns me .... NO other tremors, or seizures Thank you!

This symptom suggesting tourette syndrome.
Tourette syndrome is a common neuropsychiatric disorder with onset in childhood, characterized by multiple motor tics These tics characteristically wax and wane, can be suppressed temporarily, and are typically preceded by an unwanted urge or sensation . Some common tics are eye blinking, coughing, throat clearing, sniffing, and facial movements. Tourette's does not adversely affect intelligence or life expectancy.
treated with parental councelling, avoiding unwanted urge, can use haloperidol if severe
