The pain and bloating eased slightly. i finished my course today but tonight my stomach is sore again. The pain is hard to describe its an ache at the moment but it was an ache on friday with the occasional stronger pain. it is under my ribcage and down to lower tummy area. no pain anywhere else any advice grateful for thanks
Hello, 1) Your symptoms suggest possibility of gastritis which produce rib-cage pain and UTI which produce lower abdomen pain. 2) Gastritis is inflammation of inner layer of stomach which lead to nausea, rib-cage pain. 3) Most common cause for repeated episodes of gastritis is H.Pylori infection in last part of stomach. 4) If you have such repeated episodes then you must undergo upper GI endoscopy with RUT test for H.Pylori to confirm infection and appropriate antibiotics must be started. Treatment also consist of medications for acidity and indigestion. 5) As a preventive measure, you must avoid oily, spicy, partially or uncooked foods.
