What Causes Lump Between The Pelvic Bone Along With Abdominal Pain?
I keep having a burning, pinching pains in my abdomen mostly around belly button. I had a csection 2 years ago and I now have a hard knot/ lump about the size of a baseball between my pelvic bone and csection scare. That can be painfull and is tender when pushed on. The pain gets worse about a week or so before my period. Sex also can be painful around this time.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In my opinion, in the current scenario, the possible causes are- an endometriotic deposit at the scar site, an induration, small herniation of the peritoneal sac through the incisional site. A proper clinical exam, a sonogram of the pelvis, MRI or CT of the abdomen help to detect the cause. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
