What Causes Lump Formation On The Head?

My 6 year old grandson yesterday developed a large lump on his head about the size of a large grape. It is painful to the touch. He also said his neck hurt to touch and then this morning he has another even larger painful to touch lump on his base of his neck where it was sore yesterday.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He may have some reactive lymphnode or some benign cyst like lesion or may have some other lesion liks tuberculosis or lymphoma. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology. It will give you exact idea regarding cause.
Then you should take treatment accordingly.
