What Causes Lump In The Neck?

I have a lump in my neck that only I can feel. Its near where my jaw bone meets my neck. Have had it for a few years now. When I have asked doctors to feel it they couldn't tell where it was. You can't feel it as a lump but when I push on it I can feel it pushing onto the tissus below and it is a round shape.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have enlarged cervical lymphnode or some pooled muscle mass. You should go for ultrasound neck first. If you have enlarged lymphnode then you should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It can be reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis or lymphoma. You should take treatment according to diagnosis. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
