What Causes Lump In The Opening Of Ear Canal?

i have a lump in the opening of my ear canal. I have been to my internist and she says it is a small pearl like lump and recommended nephrin for 3 days. I don t believe that is the problem. I have some nausea and a sense of not feeling well along with a bit of pounding in the ear and a hum like sense.
