What Causes Lump Near The Anus?
Hi I had a baby five months ago and suffered with haemorroids after the birth which slowly seem to have got better but haven't resolved completely. Last night I had some aching near my anus and this morning under the skin there is a small pea sized lump which hurts when I mess with it. There is nothing visible outside and I am panicking about what this is....

yes, it could still be the hemorrhoid you had after birth. it is internal that's why nothing is visible. if it gets bigger, becomes painful, tender and bleeding episodes upon defecation occurs, it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and possible surgical management.
