What Causes Lump On Groin Area During Ovulation After Post Partum?
Hi, I noticed a small (1/4 inch) tender lump on my groin as my body was starting to ovulate again, the first time post partum. I had a period, then, I thought it was going away, at least getting smaller. I am having my period again right now, and I noticed that it is a lot bigger (1/2 inch) and painful again. Could this be associated with hormonal influctuations? Should I be concerned about lymphoma?
I think that this condition of your can be due to a swollen lymph nodes which might have been infected. I would suggest you to start a course of antibiotics (amoxycillin clauvulunic acid tablet for 5 days) and do a ultrasound examination of whole abdomen and a complete blood count. Also, I would suggest you to have a thyroid profile test done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
