What Causes Lump On The Neck That Is Filled With Dark Blood?
Hi, I have had a lump on the side of my neck for about 3 years now. When I went to get it tested by an ENT, he drew a sample with a needle and it was filled with dark blood- the lump was gone. Then about 5 minutes later, the lump was back. He didn t know what it was but just suggested I should have it surgically removed. Do you know what it is and what might have caused it?

It could be a small hemangioma, lymphangioma, or a cyst. You need to get it radiologicaly evaluated before surgical removal.
