What Causes Lump Under Skin Near Forearm?

A few months back, I felt a small bump, under my skin near my forearm- close to the bend on my elbow. There was no pain at that time. I have since noticed the lump is getting bigger and is sometimes painful to the touch. Is this something I should be concerned about? I am without insurance, so its not easy for me to be seen. Thank you.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some soft tissue tumor like lipoma or neurofibroma or dermatofibroma.
You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump.
It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Surgical excision is the treatment of choice.
