What Causes Lump Under The Jaw?
Hi there I have a painful lump under my jaw line on the left hand side, it sort of pops out when I move my head downwards, it moves around and is painful when I touch it, then it will pop back under my jaw line and I have trouble finding it, do I need to see my g.p? Thanks

Hi,
This is mostly likely a lymph node. These can enlarge with infection even when the infection is very mild. There are many in the head and neck area. They are often tender when touched.
You do not need to see your doctor. It will disappear over the next week.
