I fell in bath got a black eye, damaged a tooth, bruising on face. This was five weeks ago, face still a bit swollen. I have two lumps under eye which are fairly hard and visible. Had xray when first fell but apparently no fractures. Do you know what these lumps are and when they will go.
Hello It seems from the history that you had a fall following which you are having lumps below the eye associated with bruising of face and black eye. These lumps indicate hematoma as a result of collection of blood in the layers of skin as a result of impact of injury. Since X ray is not showing any fracture no need to worry and this will resolve over 2-3 weeks as it gets absorbed over time. Applying cold compression provides symptomatic relief.
Thank you
