What Causes Lumps In Lower Abdomen Near Pelvic Region?
Hi, I have a few small lumps in my lower left abdomen region near the pelvic area. It is also slightly painful to press the area, but no changes in any other functions. I did have my tubes tied a while ago, so I don t know if that would have to do with it, since I have only recently noticed this.
Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. In case you had a laparoscopic tubal ligation, and the lumps are in the area of the scars, it could be a hypertropic scar or keloid which could be related to the previous surgery. If not, then these could be completely different independent pathology like a benign lipoma. However, these could be diagnosed only by a physical examination , and so I would advise you to take an appointment with a general surgeon in your area for a proper diagnosis and further management.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
