What Causes Lumps On Scalp With A Head Cold?

I m a 64 year old male suffering from a head cold for the past 3 days. I showered this afternoon and noticed several lumps under my scalp, each 3/4 to 1 in diameter (the shapes varried and aren t symetrical). Should I be concerned? I ve had sinus problems for years and had emergency surgery on one side while serving in the military as a pilot.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some enlarged lymphnodes due to reactive hyperplasia or some cyst or skin adenexal tumor. You should take a course of antibiotics. If it doesn't respond to treatment then biopsy diagnosis is advisable.
