What Causes Lumps On The Bottom Of The Foot?

I had a full knee replacement 4 days ago. I now have lumps on the bottom of my repaired foot. I went to the ER and had labs and a Venus Doppler to check for blood clots. All tests came back fine. The doctor said it may be nerve bundles, since there is still swelling. If it is nerve bundles is there anything to do to break them up?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It's highly unlikely to be due to nerve. Possibility of corn under foot may be the cause of such nodules. Get examined by a dermatologist.
