What Causes Lumps On The Laryngeal Prominence?

I have a lump approximately twho fingers above my adams apple that is not painful and generally only visible or able to be felt when i tilt my head backwards. Recently I ve treated for a sinus infection with three courses of antibiotics and I have some post nasal drainage that continues. My doctor also felt my glands and noted some swelling but nothing concerning. He did not feel the area directly that I am describing now and I did not tilt my head for him to feel the lump i am describing. When I return my head to normal position that lump essentially disappears. Wondering if you have any suggestions on what this might be. Thanks

Hello
As per your description i would like to know some details like your age, onset/ when did you first noticed it, whether the lump moves with swallowing and protusion of tongue and its consistancy.in my opinion you should go for a usg neck and visit a ent to get it examined.i am thinking on the line of thyroglossal cyst and want to exclude it.
I find this answer helpful
