Hi, my dad is 65 and has recently found 2 lumps on his testicle s at the bottom of each one, he also gets swallon testicles after having a hot bath. He is waiting for a scan but his own doctor didn t give him any information, please can u give ur advice on this and what you think it s likely to be.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Your father has a classical history: He is 65 and has found 2 lumps one each at the bottom of each one. He also gets swollen testicles on hot bath. Waiting for a scan. The most probable diagnosis in such a case are: There may be secondary hydrocele that are perceived as lumps at the bottom of the testicles. The swelling on hot bath is due to relaxation of the scrotal skin in response to the hot water and this make to appear larger the defects one have. Surely, ultrasonography and a color doppler examination will reveal the diagnosis and gives the plan for further treatment.
