While pregnant with twins, i developed horrible stretchmarks. I had a csection 18 months ago. Last week, i noticed about four lumps underneath these large stretchmarks. The lumps are not painful, ranging in size from a dime to a fifty cent piece. Any ideas on what these may be, and what type of doctor to see first?
I can understand your concern for lumps under stretch marks. Let me reassure you first that it is quite usual to get such kind of lumps under stretch marks. After reading your query it appears to be sebaceous cyst of the affected area. As your lumps are not painful and are not causing any discomfort too so it is evident that these are not infected.
In my patients with such kind of problem I generally go for either excision of the area or mild extraction to remove the inside pultaceous material. You can take further guidance from a dermatologist or a surgeon for the removal if these cystic swellings. Take care. All the best
