I am 60 yr old fit female. I recently self examined my vaginal area and found it was not smooth but had bulbous lumpy skin that did not slough off when I touched it with my finger nails. I have no other symptoms. I recently took up horseback riding on a daily basis. What can it be?
Lumps on the vagina can be a normal occurrence. Vaginal lumps are not usually painful. When lumps on the vagina grow too large, cause bleeding or pain, or result in infection, they might require treatment. Otherwise, no treatment is required.
