What Causes Mass Over Heart?
While in jail they discovered that my mom has a mass over her heart,what is that? My mom has no Medicaid but she has a gold card where is a place she can go to to get it removed she is in Houston TX area code 77051 please help me out I'm concerned about her

Mass over her heart could be any left atrial tumour ,which is called myxoma.This has to be further confirmed through a 2 dimensional echocardiography followed by Helical CT scan chest.Treatment involves complete surgical removal of the tumour with or without chemotherapy.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
