Hi I am a 68 year old female who recently started to forget things. I will let the dogs outside and 15 minutes later wonder where the dogs are and then remember they are outside. I passed out while standing and fell on the back of my head. The fall was last August. I never had it checked out I read that concussions don t always present symptoms right after. Also other things too walk away and forget about something in the kitchen but also have my daughter and her 3 teenagers and 2 dogs living with us and am stressed

Memory loss is common in seventies. Possible causes like Alzheimer's disease or parkinsons or age-related memory loss etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it the cause. Please consult your neurophysician he will examine and advice MRI of brain and treat you accordingly.
