What Causes Migraine And Nausea?

I m a nurse working for an insurance company on the computer most of the day. I had a migraine or what I thought was a migraine with light sensitivity and nausea for over a week. It finally went away yesterday but came back today at noon with a vengence. I just feel really sick. No fever or sweating. I don t have diabetes. Try to stay healthy. I am very sensitive to chemicals both externally and internally. I don t know if maybe there is something in the building where I work or maybe it might just be allergies from all the stuff in the air.

Hi,

If your headaches (which certainly sound as if they possess migraineous features) only seem to come on or peak severely while at work or whenever you enter that building. Or the other way to look at it would be. They resolve or get noticeably better within a couple of hours of leaving that building and area. Then, I believe you would have just cause to think about something in the building you're exposed to that could be triggering the headaches. Finding that, however, will be quite the challenge. I always give my headache patients a diary with detailed explanations on how to look for and identify triggers. Recommend finding a headache specialist who is knowledgeable with how to utilize headache logs and looking for triggers and working with them.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
