What Causes Migraine, Headache And Anxiety While On Xanax?

Hello, I have been on the same dose of Xanax for many years and my all natural Dr. gave me Kava to try because I do not want to increase Xanax. I took one Kava and after an hour had a migraine headache and felt tremendous anxiety. I was tested on the Natural Dr s machine with the Xanax on the machine that checks medications and my body. It showed I could take 1 Kava per day. I am asking you for a second opinion as I am fearful to take Kava again after I read online the side effects it has and has not been approved by the FDA however I have complete trust in my Natural Dr. Thank You! I m so sorry I didn t realize there was a fee thank you anyway and God Bless!!

Hi,

Kava has not been taken off the U.S. market. It is known for the effects on calming anxiety, stress, and restlessness, and to treat sleeping problems. Anyway I would not recommend this alternative of treatment. I would suggest you too consult a psychiatrist and change Xanax with an alternative medication.
