Hi,I am Dr. Carol Rogala (Emergency Medicine). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an emergency stent due to an occurring heart attack 3 days ago. I am home now, and feel okay in general, but keep having mild clammy spells randomly. Is this a concern? I did have a quadruple bypass in July of 2016. I have little to no pain and really good vitals. Thanks
Your symptoms could be related to different possible causes:
- an inner ear disorder -chronic degenerations of the cervical vertebral column - a low blood flow to the brain (especially considering your past medical history).
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

What Causes Mild Dizziness After Placing A Stent?
Hello! Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM! Your symptoms could be related to different possible causes: - an inner ear disorder -chronic degenerations of the cervical vertebral column - a low blood flow to the brain (especially considering your past medical history). For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests: - a cervical spine X ray study - a Doppler ultrasound of the neck vessels to investigate for possible narrowing - complete blood count for anemia - thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid dysfunction. If all these tests result normal, you should consult with an ENT specialist and perform labyrinthine tests. Hope to have been helpful! Kind regards, Dr. Iliri
