What Causes Mild Swelling And Bleeding In The Anal Area?

Extreme vaginal discomfort, redness and itching. I recently noticed a small swelling on my anus. Once or twice when I ve wiped there s been tiny tiny spots of blood. The most annoying thing is the discomfort. I think it could be thrush as the lips of my vagina are swelled are sore. Any advice?

Hi there,I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

Your symptoms can be due to fungal and or bacterial infection in and around the vagina and discomfort around the anus can be due to abscess or fistula.

Please get a gynecology check up done including per speculum and per vaginal examination.
Also rule out any anal and perineal pathology .

Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for a combination kit containing antifungal like Fluconazole, antibacterial agents like Azithromycin and Ornidazole.

Use of Lactic acid containing vaginal wash during bath time is advisable.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
