I started having this mild throbbing in the back of my head about mid morning today only when I was bending over getting laundry out. I am 30 year old female, and I have a good medical history. My nose is a little snuffy but I can still get air through it easily
Good morning ma'am. Occipital headaches of a throbbing nature can be caused by migraine types of headaches or by an entity called occipital neuralgia although most people will typically referring to a searing or more burning sensation in the back of the head. Sinus headaches will more typically cause a pounding or pressure upon bending in the frontal portions of the head and face.
