What Causes Missed Period After Unprotected Intercourse?
I have been having unprotected sex with my bf for the last 7+ months we use the pull out method. My periods are always on time and consistent. This month my period was four days late and seems to be a normal period minus the cramps and it only lasted 2.5 days. What could this mean? I ve test negative for pregnancy tests.
The very fact you had your menses after the last intercourse and your urine pregnancy test is negative, suggests that it is most unlikely that you are pregnant. Still, since the amount of bleeding was for less number of days, you may repeat this test after a period of about week for confirmation.
You had no cramps during this menses, mostly because you did not release egg this cycle.
Please understand that pull out technique is most unsafe method of birth control. Before semen ejaculation, precum is ejected unknowingly. Precum does contain some sperms which are capable of fertilizing an egg. Moreover, such incomplete sex leads to stress disorders and pelvic congestion. Hence I would advise you to practise some reliable birth control methods like condom, birth control pills or intrauterine device. This will give you protection against the pregnancy and also you will be able to enjoy the sex to the fullest.
I hope you got the message.
