Hi I haven t had a period in 2 months but I ve had light pink to Brown spotting that only lasted for a few hours and only when I wiped. I ve taken 3 hpt and they all came out negative with the exception that one was a faint negative. I m really trying not to worry but can t help it. I have a couple of pregnancy symptoms. I just need some help please and thank you
I can understand your concern. If the home pregnancy tests are not giving confirmed results, you can go for a blood tests to check for pregnancy which is never wrong.
In addition, there are many other reasons than pregnancy that can cause irregular or missed periods like polycystic ovaries, thyroid dysfunction, infection of uterus or ovaries etc.
I would advise you to visit a gynecologist for physcial examination and blood tests along with ultrasonography to reach a diagnosis of irregular hormonal balance causing irregular menstrual cycles. Treatment can be given based on the underlying cause after test results.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
