What Causes Missed Period With History Of Fallopian Tubes Removal?

Hello i am 41 years old i had my tubes removed after my eight baby. And have had my perods faithfully every month, until recently i ve missed 1month period then had one and now ive missed two months. i took a pregnancy test it was negative. Am I going through menopause

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion there is no chance of pregnancy it might be some hormonal imbalance.And it is too early to have menopause because menopause usually occurs around 47 to 50 yrs of age and irregular periods might start 3 to 4 yrs before that.So check for any thyroid abnormalities and any increase in weight or any stress.Polycystic ovarian disease which also causes irregular cycles is rare at this age.Avoid stress and reduce weight if overweight or obese.If everything is normal it might be age related as some set into premenopause or menopause early.
