What Causes Missed Periods Along With Loose Motions And Breast Pain?
Hello, I m 45 and have not had a cycle for 2 months now. Store pregnancy test result negative. I m also having a lot of loose stool and had some episodes of sob with exertion(sex)-and under left side of breast pain that seems worse when laying down. Is pregnancy possible? Is menopause possible? What s happening to me?
From your age and symptoms, menopause seems more like a possibility than pregnancy. Also, negative oregnancy test negates possibility of pregnancy. Menopause is experienced differently by different women. While some women feel no severe changes, others may need hormone replacement therapy to deal with the phase.
I would advise you to observe your experiences for a few days and if you feel them too cumbersome to deal with, contact a gynecologist for hormone replacement therapy.
Drink lots of water and have energy-rich diet. Regular exercises will help in dealing with symptoms, too.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM for your query. I wish this phase is easier for you!
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
