What Causes Missed Periods With Positive Pregnancy Test When Never Had Sex?
I tested positive on a pregnancy test when I ve never had sex before. I just brushed it off cause I didn t believe that possible and thought it was probably because I was on medications for typhoid and malaria. However, I ve missed my period for about 3 days, and I m wondering what s going on? Friends have told me not to be bothered because I can t be pregnant without a sexual intercourse and that my period will come. But it s never been this long delayed for as long as I can remember, could this be because I m presently ill (with a blood infection and high white blood cell count)? I have no idea what s going on, please help
Please dont be panic . There may be few interfering factors in the test you did. I suggest you to go ahead with Serum Beta HCG levels in order arrive at a diagnosis based on your history .
TODO :
1. Serum beta HCG levels
2. Complete blood count
3. Thyroid function test
Also, take a nutritious diet rich in IRON content.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
