Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Moderate Pain On The Left Heel During Walk?
My left heel has moderate pain when walking. 1st thing in the morning it is not so bad but as the day goes along it gets worse, not terrible cant walk just sore maybe like I jumped off a porch or something and landed on my heel. When I am off of my foot the soreness is barely noticable. It may be starting to get into my arch just a tiny bit. I hace been climbing ladders and standing on ladders installing signs for 23 years.
I think maybe is Plantar fasciitis which is a painful inflammation of the plantar fascia, a fibrous band of tissue on the sole of the foot that helps to support the arch. Plantar fasciitis occurs when the plantar fascia is overloaded or overstretched. I suggest to rest, use ibuprofen and wear comfortable shoes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
