Hello, CIPRALEX ( ESCITALOPRAM ) is an anti depressant belonging to SSRI group and your symptoms are due to the side effects of this medicine.Although these side effects tend to diminish after a use of many weeks but if they are still persisting and bothering ypu, then you can stop it but after consulting your doctor. Moreover this drug is never quit cold turkey because of severe withdrawal symptoms. If you want to quit it,then ypu should decrease the dose by 10% every 3 weeks and come out of it gradually. Consult your doctor for an alternate anti depressant medications lest your depression flares up. Thanks
