I started taking monoessa on nov 2 which was 4 days after my last period but the following sunday after period I have now discovered that I am 2 to 3 days late on my period cervix is very low slight firm feels like its closing I am experiencing a lot of cramping as if period is coming on mood swings took place last week and cramping started last week as well the cramping is getting milder but my question is. is there any reason to be concerned of pregnancy considering I am cramping and having all symptoms of period except blood but I do have white mucus. and no I have not had any protection during intercourse please help??????
Hello, Welcome to this forum. You have started Monoessa from day 4 of your cycle. Probably this is your first pack and you need to start it from day 1. For the first cycle of use only, we recommend use an additional form of non-hormonal birth control (such as condoms, spermicide) for the first 7 days to prevent pregnancy until the medication has enough time to work. So, as you could see, there is a fair chance of pregnancy as you do not take help of another contraceptive for first few days. I suggest you to do a pregnancy testing to rule out the chance of pregnancy if you do not have your cycle even after three days. Sincerely
