What Causes Mucus And Blood Discharge Through The Nose?

Hello I am 21, female around 5 6 and weigh 145lbs. Lately I ve been dizzy, feeling nauseated and tried and spit out mucus and blood from what I assume is from my nose. I also thought maybe I was pregnant but took two pregnancy tests and it came up negative. I should be having my period sometime soon. What could all this mean? I ve been sick for about 2.5 weeks.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi
What you are experiencing is known as post nasal drip . Blood stains in your mucus suggests you could be having a sinusitis and as result of which you are having this. I suggest you meet an ent specialist til then you could take Mucolite agents which would help reduce the thickness of the mucus and steam inhalation. You would also need antibiotics if there is infection
