General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Sticky mucus on wiping on passing stool is due to the following reasons:
Procto-colitis and this can be found out by the following:
Get the stool tests for three consecutive days.
Consult a General surgeon for per-rectal digital examination and proctoscopy.
Get an appointment for colonoscopy and biopsy.
Clinical evaluation and a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics may help.
Further management as needed id needed if there is no response to the medicines.
